July 14, 1930 - Dec 2, 2013 KINGSTON Billy G. Lucas, of Kingston, OK, was born on July 14, 1930, to Herbert and Idell (Carper) Lucas in Stidham, OK. Billy went to be with his Lord and Savior Dec. 2, 2013, at the age of 83 years. Billy attended Okemah schools and served his country in the United States Air Force for eight years, where he fought in the Korean War and was Honorably Discharged. Billy and Joyce LaForce were united in marriage Feb. 2, 1985, in Las Vegas, NV. Billy worked most of his life in the oil field and was a member of the Elks Lodge and Petroleum Club. In his free time, Billy enjoyed working in his yard and being on the boat, water skiing, which he did three years ago at the age of 80. Billy was preceded in death by parents, Herbert & Idell Lucas; son, Gary Lucas; and sisters, Lois Martindale and Jean Goff. Billy is survived by his loving wife, Joyce, of the home; sons: Phillip Lucas, of Phoenix, AZ; and Ray Castlebeury and wife Misty, of Springtown, TX; daughters: Shonda Powell and husband Mark, of Nikiski, AK; and Tonja Walker and husband Randy, of Littleton, CO; brother, Glynn Lucas and wife Nancy, of Midwest City; sister, Dorothy Penland and husband Ed, of Edmond, OK; grandchildren: Tyler Bauer, of Billings, MT; Garrett Danna, of Nikiski, AK; Chase Danna, of Ilwaco, WA; Jack Sennett, of Wilburton, OK; Chad McCarter, of Casper, WY; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
