LYNN BULLA Obituary
Aug. 26, 1954 - June 28, 2014 TULSA Lynn was born in Kansas City, MO. She was adopted soon thereafter by her loving parents, Russell and Lois Fogle. Lynn grew up in Tulsa, attending Tulsa Public Schools, graduating from Edison H.S. in 1972. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1977, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi. Lynn resided in Norman, Oklahoma City and Edmond, before moving back to Tulsa in 2008. When it came to work, Lynn wore many hats. After college she worked for the State of Oklahoma as a probation and parole officer. Later, she became a polygraph examiner. Later yet, she became a realtor. Lynn married Gordon W. Bulla in 1982, and a family followed. Barri was born in 1987, and Nick was born in 1989. Lynn truly enjoyed being a parent and was involved in Barri's and Nick's activities, school and sports primarily. Lynn, herself, played co-ed softball for a number of years, and played tennis for many more years, recreationally and competitively. In recent years, Lynn became involved with Tulsa Master Gardeners. She enjoyed learning and teaching others about gardening. Her love of flowers is seen all about her home. She fought a battle with breast cancer in 2011, and came out a winner. She was so determined it was not going to beat her, and she displayed a tremendous attitude all while going through the various treatments and a mastectomy. After beating breast cancer, Lynn started making wreaths and floral arrangements that she sold online. It was a labor of love for Lynn as she worked along side of Barri in the business of making and selling creative things. Lynn also followed Nick in his love of golf, watching him play in many tournaments over the years. Lynn was always supportive of Gordon in his work, understanding his travel and evening and weekend hours. Lynn's death was completely unexpected, but memories of her live on with her family and many friends. Lynn's parents predeceased her. Lynn is survived by her immediate family and other relatives from both the Fogle and Bulla sides of the family. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at 10:00 AM at Ranch Acres Baptist Church, 3143 S. Jamestown, Tulsa, OK.
