March 25, 1938 - Feb. 19, 2014 NOBLE William A. "Bill" Antrobus, Sr. was born March 25, 1938, in Anderson, Indiana, to Archie and Evelyn. He passed from this life on February 19, 2014, after a brief, unexpected illness. Bill transferred from the Anderson General Motors Plant to the Oklahoma City General Motors Plant in 1979 and retired in 2002 after 40 years of service. Bill and his family made their home for most of those years in the Norman/Noble, Oklahoma area. Bill is survived by his wife, Betty (Slavin) Antrobus, whom he married on May 29, 1965, in Anderson, Indiana. Also surviving are sons: Bill Jr., of Anderson, IN; and Khrys, of Oklahoma City; and daughter, Kym (Chris) Yancey, of Altus, OK. Bill is also survived by four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom adored him. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his only brother, David R. Antrobus. Bill loved everyone he met, and he loved God. He felt God's presence everywhere. He was a novice photographer and took pictures of anyone who would stand still, especially at family gatherings. He enjoyed his miniature train collection, reading, gardening and landscaping with Betty. In his true, unselfish nature, Bill was an organ donor. Bill's loving presence will forever be missed, and he will live in our hearts until we meet again. A memorial service is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, at the Maguire Baptist Church, located at 9801 E. Maguire Rd. in Noble.
