Sept. 5, 1925 - Nov. 11, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY On Veterans Day, proud Veteran, Carl William Cook peacefully passed away from this life at age 88. Carl was a member of the Moose Lodge. He was a very generous person, always helping people. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy, during WWII. Carl worked as a Refrigeration Tech for Thermo-King. He enjoyed fishing, watching football, playing poker and going to the casino. Carl raised cattle and did some chicken farming. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Ann Harris & husband, Ronnie; son, Eddie William Cook & wife, Paula; 5 grandchildren, William Cook, Christopher Harris, Justin Harris, Hallie Cook and Clark Cook; 3 great-grandchildren, Collin Harris-Beard, Kalista Harris and Ethan Harris; sister-in-law, Eunice Carpenter; 2 nephews, Perry Cook and Larry Carpenter. Carl is preceded in death by his first wife, Edna Annette Cook; second wife, Lillie May Cook; son, Timothy Carl Cook; brother, Leroy Cook; sister-in-law, Imogene Cook; and niece, Donna Sue Carpenter. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 16, 2013, in the Chapel of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home, 120 South Broadway, Moore, OK. Inurnment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, OKC. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home.
