KINGSTON Connie (Rawson) Allen went home to be with The Lord, Christmas Eve, at the age of 62. She had a myriad of medical problems, and her positive attitude has been an inspiration to everyone that crossed her path. It is very difficult to be in constant pain and put a smile on your face, but that was our Connie. She did not want "her illness" to make others uncomfortable. She is survived by daughter, Tiffany (Wood) Ahmed; son-in-law, Sherif Ahmed; granddaughter, Marissa Carter; mother, Leta Rader, and stepfather, Tom Rader; stepdaughter, Rhonda (Wood) Salinas; stepson, Anthony Wood; sister and brother-in-law, Debra & Dale Shoemake; brother, David Rawson; niece, Nicole Sparks; and nephew, Shawn Sparks. She is also survived by numerous friends and relatives. She graduated from Dibble High School, then moved to Moore, OK. She later moved to Lake Texoma, where she and her mom opened Texoma Hair Designs in 1986. A memorial service will be held at Crossroads Baptist Church, Kingston, OK, January 5, 2013, at 2 p.m.
