June 13, 1925 - March 25, 2014 OKLAHOMA CITY Dorothy Jean Sullivan, 88, of OKC, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2014. She was born June 13, 1925, in Loco, OK to Joseph Edgar & Nora (Taylor) Sullivan. Following graduation from Fox H.S. in 1943, she moved to OKC & worked at Douglas Aircraft to support the war effort. She returned to Fox & helped run her family grocery store at Sullivan's Corner for several years. After returning to OKC & attending business school, she began a 42-year career at Hillcrest Hospital (now St. Anthony South) where she made many lifelong friends. After retiring, she continued volunteering at the hospital for the past seven years. She was preceded in death by her father & mother; brother & sister-in-law, Claude & Jo Sullivan; brother, Joe Sullivan, Jr.; brothers-in-law, Dee Platner, Bill Snyder, & Jack Henson; nieces, Nancy Sharon Snyder & JoAnn Sullivan Potts. Survivors include sisters, Anne Platner, Lois Snyder, & Mary Henson; sister-in-law, Shirley Sullivan; & many beloved nephews & nieces. The family suggests that, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brookwood Baptist Church or the . Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Fri., March 28, at Vondel Smith South, 6934 S. Western, OKC. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sat., March 29, at Brookwood Baptist Church, 8921 S. Walker, OKC, followed by interment at Resthaven Memory Gardens in OKC. Friends may leave condolences for the family at
