Aug 31, 1934 - Jan 15, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY Mary Frances Bamberger, born August 31, 1934, to Earl and Marie Wootan, died peacefully January 15, 2013, after a long illness. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Tom Bamberger; children Michael Fair, Diane Bergeron, and Pamela Herman; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren, with another expected in March. A lifetime resident of Oklahoma City, Frances attended Classen High School and enjoyed her career as an Estee Lauder cosmetics representative at Penn Square, where she was employed for many years. Frances loved nature and all animals, especially birds and cats, and teaching campfire girls. She enjoyed and studied Egyptian art and many different cultures. A giving and loving wife, mother and friend, Frances was known for her bright smile and her kind and caring soul. Frances thought of others first, treated everyone with dignity and respect, and always maintained her positive and gentle nature. A casual gathering of family and friends will celebrate Frances' life on Saturday, February 2 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel, 7840 NW 39 Expressway. Special thanks to the staff at South Park Health Care Center. Private burial will be held at a future time at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City.
