Sep 14, 1934 - Jan 17, 2013 EDMOND Lula Mae Rhoton was born in Abilene, Texas, to Walter and Linnie Harris. Lula worked as a secretary for twenty years for Oklahoma Health Sciences Center Department of Physiology. After retirement, she enjoyed being outdoors. She had beautiful flower gardens and loved her time spent fishing with friends and family. After her illness, she became a huge sports fanatic, and her favorite teams included OU, Dallas Cowboys Football and the OKC Thunder. Lula is survived by two daughters: Marsha Campbell, of Texas; and Sharon Campbell, of Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Weatherford, of Erick, OK; sister-in-law, Brenda Ernst, of St. Louis, MO; as well as many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her treasured longtime friends, Chuck Elmore, Lori Elmore, DJ Boyce, and Dusty Odem; and her special neighbors. Lula was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Vaughn Campbell; sister, Freida Harris; and husband, Monty Rhoton. She will be missed and her memory treasured. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Monday, January 21, 2013, at the Baggerley Funeral Home Chapel.
