"Peggy" Collins July 26, 1918 - Jan 18, 2013 GROVE Margaret Marie "Peggy" Collins, 94, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013, in Grove, OK. She was born July 26, 1918, in Independence, MO, to Henry and Jessie Hunze. Peggy lived in Oklahoma City for 64 years and was a retired administrative assistant for the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma. She was a member of Crown Heights Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School class for many years and was a volunteer at Deaconess Hospital. She is survived by her daughters: Linda Baker (Joe), of Jeffersonville, IN; and Christy Bishop (Gary), of Grove, OK; grandchildren: Jessica Baker O'Brien (Tom), of Clarksville, TN; Zac Bishop (Nicole) and Jeremy Bishop, of OKC; and her cherished great-grandson, Ethan O'Brien. She was preceded in death by her parents; her granddaughter, Angela Bishop; and her beloved husband of 72 years, Herb Collins. Peggy was a sweet and gentle lady, who by her example taught her daughters the meaning of devotion. Visitation for Peggy will be on Tuesday, January 22, 2013, from 1 P.M. until service time. Services for Mrs. Collins will be on Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at 3 p.m. at Hahn-Cook/ Street & Draper Funeral Home Chapel in Oklahoma City, with The Reverend Gary Bishop officiating and Dr. Joe Cannon assisting. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Burial Park. Services are in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, OK.
