April 5, 1943 - Jan 27, 2013 NORMAN Robert Lee Hale went to be with our Lord on Jan. 27, 2013. He was born to Dorothy Koos and Louis Hale on April 5, 1943, in Geary, OK. He touched countless lives during his career as a teacher and school counselor, serving in OKCPS for 34 years upon retiring last year. He received four degrees from UCO, including two Bachelor's of Science in Education, a Bachelor of Arts, and a Master's of Education. Robert was also a Licensed Professional Counselor, while being only a few credits shy of his Doctorate. He enjoyed OU football, staying active, tending to his ranch, classic cars, and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, including his stepfather, Homer Koos. He is survived by his only child, Kay, and husband, Briton Heitt, along with granddaughter, Brielle Heitt, all of Norman; his brother, Louis, and wife, Carol Hale, of OKC; his sister, Patricia, and husband, Reverend Dennis Wildman, of Kildare; his sister, Ramona Thompson, and Mickey Craig, of OKC; his brother, Ronnie, and wife, Cheryl Hale, of OKC; and many nieces and nephews. Robert was a very loving and giving father, grandfather, brother and friend, who asked so little and gave so much. He will be missed by all he leaves behind, until the day we meet again.
