Redmon July 26, 1920 - March 7, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY No one called her Ruby; she was Juanita, born in Mount Vernon, TX July 26, 1920. She went to be with her Heavenly Father on March 7, 2013. Having lived through the Great Depression, she was strong and resilient and "made do" with what life gave her. She was a true "Rosie the Riveter" at Douglas Aircraft during WWII when she met L.R. "Red" Redmon. Her great loves were her family, her home, and Britton Baptist Church (and too many animals to name). She stayed close to home by operating Juanita's Beauty Shop for her church lady friends. Later, people saw her smiling face as a sales person at C.R. Anthony and Montgomery Ward. Everyone that knew her will miss her quick wit and giving nature. She is leaving behind her sister, Frances Anderson; son, Hugh Donald Redmon and wife Ruthie; daughter, Judy Redmon Carlyle and Frank Carlyle; daughter, Nancy Redmon Fossett and Dwight Fossett; six grandchildren, Brian, Debbie, Ken, Trisha, Darrell, Matthew; and two great-grandchildren, Ava and Logan.
