HutzelFeb. 29, 1936 - Jul. 29, 2014 EDMOND Ercie Gayle Roberts Hutzel born Feb. 29, 1936 to Allie and Beulah Roberts in Clinton, OK. She graduated from Hammon High School in 1953 and from OCCC Nursing School as a Registered Nurse. She retired from S.W. Medical Center in OKC in 1992. She enjoyed traveling with family and friends and spent eight winters in South Texas with her husband Bill. A few of her hobbies were cooking, reading, sewing and spending time with friends and family and was an avid OKC Thunder fan! She had a genuineness about her that attracted many people to her. She was a loving wife, sister, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who loved her. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; grandma and grandpa Roberts; beloved grandma Tanner; husband of 31 years, Bill Hutzel; father of her children Orvin Igo; and nephew Allen (Pete) Wynn. She is survived by her sisters, Dolores Wynn McGuire and husband Wilson, Sharon and husband Randy Meacham; three children, Charlotte Dean, Marvin Igo and wife Kathy, and Lavonne Lowell; dear friend, Clarence Breed-love; three step-children, William Hutzel and Diana, Sherry Eugene Owens (Booty) and Rocky Hutzel and Sherri; seven grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and dear friends. Services to celebrate her life will be 1:00 PM Friday at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers please donate to a or City Rescue Mission, Salvation Army, or the Regional Food Bank.
