November 2, 1933 - November 4, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY Anita Jusola Jackson formerly of Tulsa, passed away in OKC on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012. She was born on Nov. 2, 1933 in Minneapolis, MN and her family moved to Tulsa in 1951. Anita met her husband Jack Jackson in Tulsa and they married on Dec. 22, 1957. Anita was active in many local groups including President of Tulsa Cerebral Palsy Association, The Red Glove Revue, WOGA, Tulsa Country Club Women's Golf Association, and Oak Tree Country Club Women's Golf Association. Anita was a 3 time State Champion in the OK Women's State Golf Championship. Anita moved to OKC in 1988 and opened Anita's Antique Corner. Anita is known by her many friends as charismatic and creative. She possessed a heart of gold. Her great joys included: painting, interior design, furniture restoration, golfing with her friends, and entertaining others. Anita also enjoyed spending time at their weekend cabin and driving her cherished 1976 Corvette. She was a warm and caring mother, and a loving and dedicated wife. Anita is preceded in death by her parents Emil & Elvina Jusola, her beloved husband Jack Jackson, and brother Bobby Jusola. Anita leaves behind her daughter Maija Vogel and son-in-law Rob Vogel of OKC; sons, Stephen Jackson of OKC, Jay Jackson, and daughter-in-law Kristi Jackson of Olathe, KS; grandchildren, Ian and Sydney Jackson of Olathe, KS.; sister, Patricia Caylor, & brother in-law Garth Caylor, Jr. of Tulsa; niece and nephew, Peri Caylor-Szymkowski and David Caylor of Minneapolis, MN. Memorial Services will be held at 11am on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, Smith & Kernke Chapel. An online guestbook is available at www.smithandkernke.com
