Sept. 5, 1930 - July 8, 2017 YUKON Bearl Dean Britton, born to Clyde W. Britton and Lillie Harris Britton on Sept. 5, 1930, in Wetumpka, OK, went to be with Jesus and the love of his life, Joyce A. Britton, on July 8, 2017. Bearl graduated from Prairie Valley High School and attended the University of Houston. He and Joyce were married for 40 years. He began his working career at Tinker AFB on April 30, 1951, and retired from there after 37 years. He also served in the Army National Guard Reserve and the U.S. Air Force Reserve for over 30 years. His hobbies included square dancing for 32 years, and he served as President of the Central District Square Dance Association for two years. He loved fishing with his brothers and gardening and had his own greenhouse. Bearl loved family gatherings, especially Thanksgiving when family would gather for the whole weekend. He is survived by his daughter, Judith Kay Rauch, and son-in-law, William Judson Rauch, of Yukon, OK; two grandsons, Christopher Don Alexander, of Jones, OK; and Andrew Judson Rauch, and wife, Katie L. Rauch, of Edmond, OK; two great-grandsons, Tyler D. Alexander and Kyle G. Alexander; one brother; Raymond H. Britton; and several nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial donations may be made, in lieu of flowers, to the Parkinson's Foundation of Oklahoma. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2017, 4- 8 p.m. with funeral services following on Wednesday, July 12, 10 a.m., both at Guardian Funeral Home West Chapel.
