CHARLENE DUBRO Obituary
August 6, 1927 - April 8, 2018 OKLAHOMA CITY Charlene Evelyn Dubro, 90, of Midwest City, OK, passed away peacefully at Grace Living Center April 8, 2018. She was born August 6, 1927 the youngest of five children to Daniel W. and Mary F. (Lurry) Mantooth in Box, OK. Charlene and Marvin Paul Dubro were married in Miami, OK on November 4, 1964, and they remained married until his death on March 8, 2002. They lived in Wichita, KS during the first few years of their marriage and then moved to Midwest City in the early 1970's. She loved working in her flower beds and going to garage sales. Charlene was a faithful member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Midwest City for many years. She knew Jesus as her Lord and Savior and we know she is in Heaven now with Marvin and their son Mark. She and Marvin were very devoted to the care of their son Mark Paul Dubro, born with cerebral palsy, until his death in 1982. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Talmage O. Mantooth, Daniel Tesler Mantooth, and her sisters, Ruth Yoland Jackson and Emma Norma Mantooth. She is survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Viewing will be 8AM to 8PM Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home in Midwest City, OK. Funeral services will be held at 1PM, Friday, April 13, 2018, at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens in Midwest City, OK. The family wishes to extend a special thank-you to Grace Living Center (Brookwood) and Good Shepherd Hospice for their excellent and loving care given to Charlene and to Mobile Meals in Midwest City for their many years of service.
