Jan 18, 1930 - Aug 4, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY Charles Lee Couch died on August 4, 2013, in Oklahoma City, OK. Charles Lee Couch was born in Oklahoma City, OK on January 18, 1930, where he lived until his death. He married Marjorie Odessa Thomas Couch June 30, 1950. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marjorie Thomas Couch; three children: daughter, Mickey Len Davenport, and husband, Larry D. Davenport, Moore, OK; daughter, Jackie Lee Golden, and husband, Rickey L. Golden, OKC; and son, Charles Dean Couch, and wife, Kathryn (Kathy) Humphrey Couch, Harrah, OK; five grandchildren, Brian and Bettite Davenport, Jennifer and Cameron St. Amand, Rickey and Rachel Golden, Courtney and Cathy Charish, and Stephanie Couch; nine great-grandchildren, Porsha Lippincott, Ariel Beasley, Evan Davenport, Ty and Jake Hults, Cale St. Amand, Rickey Marshall Golden, Janell and Reagan Pluto; and one great-great-grandson, Bentley Lippincott; also, his brother, Bill Couch, OKC; niece, Billie Sue Engebretson; and nephews, Mike Couch and Earl Eugene Clark; niece, Roberta (Bobbie) Ehnot, Georgetown, TX; great- nephews, Johnny and Charles Clark; great-nieces, Sheila Bienfang, Kendra and Karla Robinson; and many special friends and relatives. Charles was retired from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) 1989 after 30 years service. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Claud and Minnie May Camp Couch, of OKC and Cleo Springs, OK.; sisters: Reola May Couch Stout Hutto, Georgetown, TX; and Edna Jean Couch Clark, Nicoma Park, OK; and great-niece, Monica Lynn Clark, of Nicoma Park, OK. Charles Lee Couch attended Foster High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, with four years of service with the Military Air Transport Service, (M.A.T.S.) during the Korean War. He entered the Air Force September 1951 to 1955. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 8, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home chapel, with interment to follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
