Christine was born, lived and educated in Antlers, Oklahoma until 1947 when she moved to OKC with her parents. She proudly graduated from Central High School OKC (Class of '49). After attending Draughon's Business School she was employed by the Veterans Administration and at Tinker AFB. She (and husband Charley) retired from federal civil service at 35 years. She worked as a clerk, secretary and computer operation in Tinker Data Services. She dearly loved to travel and was always ready to shop; enjoyed all forms of sewing/ quilting/needlework; genealogy research, and participated in all types of community service and volunteered at hospital auxiliary, election and housing authority. She was a friend to many people and loved to help whenever/however she could, driving to doctor appointments, church, grocery, etc. Declining health and distance necessitated her return to OKC and she lived with her daughter in Choctaw. However, her fervent desire was to return to Antlers and spend her remaining days among the peace and tranquility of Pushmataha County. Memorial services will be held 22 Sept. 2012 at 2 PM, at the Mills-Coffey Funeral Home, 715 East Main, Antlers, OK with burial at Antlers City Cemetery.
