CLARENCE RICHBURG Obituary
Aug. 24, 1931 - June 29, 2018 OKLAHOMA CITY Clarence Victor Richburg passed away June 29, 2018. He was born Aug. 24, 1931, near Bristow in Creek Co. to Frank T. Richburg and Clair Coon Richburg. He graduated from Bristow HS in 1951, then soon began working with his brother, Orval, as a stone mason and a brick layer. Clarence enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and traveled throughout the world during his service. He married Carolyn Deans on June 8, 1968. Clarence enjoyed church, friends, family, riding bicycles and motorcycles, studying the Bible, and fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit. He was a member of the Bricklayers Union for over 50 years. He served many years at Good News Church ushering and in missions ministry. Clarence is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Carolyn; and his extended family, Russell Kilburn, Danny Richburg, and Francis Smith, all of Bristow, OK; Charles Deans, of OKC; Carolyn Fontenoy, of Clinton, IA; Janet Jurgensen, of Osceola, IA; and Phil Curtis, of Altoona, IA. He was preceded in death by Orval Frank Jr., Norma Lorene, Frank Kilburn, Myrtle Richburg, Billy Richburg; and his stepmother, Nettie Richburg. Viewing will be held Tuesday, 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service. Memorial services will be on Thursday, July 5, 11 a.m. at Good News Church, Yukon, OK, with interment in Memorial Park Cemetery.
