March 4, 1962 - June 23, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY Crystal Marie Carlton passed away peacefully in her sleep Saturday, June 23, 2012, at age 50. Crystal was born on March 4, 1962, daughter of Charles M. Martin, II and Carole Sabolich Tiemann. Crystal was married to her junior high sweetheart, life partner, and soul mate, Timothy Ray Carlton, on September 8, 1981, for 31 years. Crystal and Tim have two sons, Garrett and Blake. Crystal knew her Lord and Savior and enjoyed Bible studies with her Mother, Grandmother, Uncle John, and various friends. The meetings meant a great deal to Crystal and helped her find a deeper relationship with Christ. Crystal loved family trips with her husband, family, and friends, Disney World being the place she would return to time and again. Crystal battled pulmonary arterial hypertension for 17 months and struggled to get out and experience life. She tried very hard to put on a strong face for others during this time of uncertainty.Crystal was preceded in death by her father, Charles Martin, II; her grandparents, Lester and Lorene Sabolich, and Howard and Lois Witherspoon.Crystal is survived by her husband, Tim; sons, Garrett and wife Rebekah, Blake and wife Jessi; mother, Carole Tiemann; stepfather, Carl; her father- and mother-in-law, Al and Maxine Carlton; brother, Charles M. Martin, III (Trey); stepbrothers, Jason Tiemann, and Christopher and wife Allison Tiemann; brothers-in-law, Ken and wife Sandy Carlton, and Doug Carlton. Crystal is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Lydia and Jesse Martin, Tanner and Caley Carlton; and Crystal's best, lifelong friend, who was like a sister to her, Becky Wade and husband Ken.Memorial Services will be held at Crossings Community Church, 14600 N. Portland, 10 a.m. Friday, June 29. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crossings Community Church, or Pulmonary Hypertension Association or . T + C Forever I love you honey bunny.
