FRANCES BAILEY Obituary
Bailey Sept. 13, 1954 - March 1, 2018Frances "Penny" Bailey, 63, a known workaholic with perfect attendance, died on her day off which was Thursday, March 1, 2018. Frances was born Sept. 13, 1954, in Burbank, CA to Charles E. and Pauline (Dunaway) Moredock. After living in various places throughout her life, she eventually settled in Oklahoma and made her home. She raised four daughters who lovingly called her Mom. She was a devoted and wonderful mom who raised her girls to be strong women. Her favorite name was MeMe. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed playing games and watching movies with them. Frances was a hard worker and never missed a day, until now. She loved her co-workers at Newcastle Gaming Center. She worked as a housekeeper, and ironically, could never keep her own house clean, much to her family's amusement. She had a great sense of humor and was more often than not a little feisty. She loved telling each of her children and grandchildren, in secret, that they were her favorite. Her smile, laughter and snarky comments will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Jay Martin; husband, Herbert Leroy Durbin, Jr.; brother, Jack John; and son-in-law, Thomas Evey, Sr. She is survived by her daughters, Sonya Mendenhall, Andrea Ward and husband Justin, Rebecca Gay and husband Ryan, and Margaret Selph; grandchildren, Tiania, Kourtney, Thomas, Stephen, Calvin, Kellie, Amber, Brooklyn, Hunter, Miranda, and Faith; great- grandbaby, Paxton; brother, Charles Moredock; sisters, Loveda and Nita Moredock; as well as a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be held 12-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at Bill Merritt Funeral Service. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 8 at Bill Merritt Funeral Service with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
