GEORGE BENNETT Obituary
Bennett Jr. April 21, 1938 - May 10, 2018 DEL CITY George Charles Bennett Jr. was born on 4-21-1938 in SW Oklahoma City to George Charles Sr. and Evelyn Pauline "Rhodes" Bennett. He passed from this life on 5-10-2018 to his Eternal Reward by Authority of The Lord Jesus Christ, may God Bless and Rest his Soul. Charlie attended Mustang Schools until the 11th grade and graduated from US Grant in OK City in 1956. In 1956 he joined the US Army with long time friend Burnes Calvert from Mustang. He is survived by his wife Barbara Jane of Del City, son Chris and family of Norman, Okla., brother Jim and Bobbie Bennett of OKC, sister Judy and Allen Richardson of Yukon, Okla., brother Don and Brenda Bennett of Yukon, Okla., step g daughter Tiffany Bookhout of Del City, step g son Mathew Roberts of Shady Cove, Oregon, many other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, friends and associates. His wish was to be donated to science for study of his illness to possibly help someone else. We wish to thank Tiffany Bookhout, and Cheridan Olson for their dedicated service of care giving to Charlie during his lengthy illness. Also many thanks to the Hospice Personnel for their continuous service and care. There will not be a funeral service, but a Memorial Service on 5-18-2018 Friday at The Southwest Baptist Church at 1300 SW 54th in Oklahoma City at 2pm where Charlie attended.
