JERRY GAMBLE Obituary
Oct. 15, 1948 - March 10, 2017 CHOCTAW Jerry W Gamble, 68, of Choctaw, OK, passed away March 10, 2017, due to complications following heart surgery. He is survived by his wife, Jenny; son, Matt; daughter, Robin, and son-in-law, Josh Benefield; his grandchildren, Austin, Campbell and Harper Benefield; siblings, Virginia Lee Meek (Leroy), Ray Fullbright (Pat), Al Gamble (Alice), and Robert Gamble; his brother-in-law, Max Luper (Betty); several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by parents, Alfred and Elizabeth Craine Gamble; and his first wife, Gwen (Luper). Jerry was born in Shawnee, OK and graduated from U.S. Grant High School in Oklahoma City and attended Rose State College. He retired from Tinker Air Force Base after 33 years of service. He served our country in the Army (Vietnam) 1968-1969. Jerry was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Wickline United Methodist Church, 417 Mid-America Blvd., Midwest City, OK. Cremation, no viewing, in honor of his wishes. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the for stroke research.
