MARY KLUGE Obituary
KlugeFeb. 9, 1948 - Feb. 7, 2018 DEL CITY Mary LeDonna Kluge stepped into Glory on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018. LeDonna was born to Donald & LaVerne Crum Feb. 9, 1948, and was the oldest of four children. She was the best mom, extremely loving and an amazing organizer. She spent many years as a homemaker before holding various contract positions at the FAA. Most notably, for many years, she organized the FAA Academy's International Aviation Training Symposium. Finally, she went to work for the FAA as a Management and Program Assistant, where she retired Jan. 31, 2013. LeDonna's greatest joys in life were her children, Tony and Missy, and she also had tremendous love for her family and friends. Traveling the United States, exploring historical landmarks and mapping out the family genealogy brought her great joy. The last 20 years of her life was spent dealing with various significant illnesses, but through it all, she kept a positive attitude, inspired those around her while her love for Christ never wavered. LeDonna is survived by her son, Tony & his companion, Dawn Beckman; daughter, Melissa & fiance, Israel Barron; her sister, Carmen Donnell (Jimmy); many nieces and nephews; and seven step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald & LaVerne Crum; sister, Darla Winslow; brother, Darwin "Sonny" Crum; and niece, Roxanne Crum. Visitation will be held at the Ford Funeral Home on Sunday, Feb. 11, 1-6 p.m., and Monday, Feb. 12, 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. Services will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Midwest City. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery.
