Sept. 5, 1956 - April 5, 2018 BRIDGE CREEK Ray Lee Mason, 61, of Bridge Creek, died on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at his home. The son of Darrel Ray Mason and Marie Francis (Cassmeyer) Mason, he was born Sept. 5, 1956, in Lindsay, OK. Ray married Vickey Lynn Hogue on Dec. 6, 1984, in Oklahoma City. Ray owned and operated Ray's Trucking and Demolition. He was a member of the Church of Christ. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to the lake, watching old Westerns, and cooking out. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with family and friends. Ray was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Mason. He is survived by his wife, Vickey Mason, of Bridge Creek; one daughter, Jennifer Grubb and her husband Ronnie, of Bridge Creek; three sons, Darrel Ray Mason and his wife Jennifer, of Tuttle; Charles Mason, of Bridge Creek; and Kevin Witt, of Bridge Creek; 11 grandchildren, Brandon, Brock, Marie, Madeline, Lauren, Bryan, Bradley, Tara, Casen, Mason, and Bryanna; one great-grandchild, Kamryn, and one more on the way; his father, Darrel Mason, of Blanchard; four brothers, Steve Mason and his wife Kathy, of Tuttle; Ronnie Joe Mason, of Blanchard; Leonard Mason and his wife Sherry, of Moore; and James Mason and his wife Michelle, of Newcastle; numerous nieces and nephews, and many other loved ones and friends. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 9, 2018, at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at the Tuttle Church of Christ. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery near Minco. Memorial donations may be made in Ray's name to the Penn South Church of Christ Building Fund, 2444 SW 89th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73159.
