Feb 13, 1927 - April 9, 2014 KERRVILLE, TX Betty Jean Williams, age 87, of Kerrville, TX, a former longtime resident of Oklahoma City, OK, passed away in Kerrville on April 9, 2014. She was born in Lucien, OK to Sue & Henry Kasl February 13, 1927. Betty graduated from high school in Perry, OK and attended Oklahoma A&M in Stillwater, OK. Betty married Billy Williams on January 31, 1947, in Perry, OK and was employed for over 25 years by C.H. Guernsey & Co. in Oklahoma City. Betty was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, enjoyed cooking, traveling, playing Bridge, reading and was an avid OU football and OKC Thunder basketball fan .... she especially loved the OU-Texas football rivalry. Betty was a member of the Chapel Hill Methodist Church for many years and also attended Church of The Servant in Oklahoma City. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy; and son, Kerry Williams. She is survived by her daughter, Pam Robbins (husband Monty), of Crescent, OK; and son, Tim Williams (wife Linda), of Mancos, CO; brothers, Ron Kasl (wife Sondra), of Tulsa, OK; and Wally Kasl (wife Linda), of Santa Fe, NM; five grandchildren - Michael Williams, Christy Williams Mendoza, Cody Williams, Jeff Williams, and Brooke Robbins Andrews; and one great-granddaughter, Emma Andrews. Betty is also survived by two nieces, Ronda and Resa Kasl; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15 at the Resurrection Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 7801 NW Expy., Oklahoma City, with Pastor Robby Robbins officiating. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the doctors and ICU nurses at Peterson Hospital, pastors at First United Methodist Church, and the warm and very friendly neighbors in Kerrville, TX. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Service, 8712 N. Council Road, Oklahoma City, OK.
