LeuchtSept 20, 1914 - April 17, 2014 BETHANY Virginia went to be with her heavenly Father on April 17, 2014. She was born on September 20, 1914, in Piggott, Arkansas, to Moses L. & Florence A. (Todd) Motsinger. Most of her life was lived in Ohio, graduating from Goshen High School in 1931. She was a longtime resident of Norwood, Ohio, moving to Bethany, Oklahoma, in 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, George C. Monfort; sister, Lois A. Bowman; brother, E. Ivan Motsinger; husband, Charles Leucht; and her beloved grandson, John A. Griffis. She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn (Jay) Griffis, of Bethany; son, Bob (Suzanne) Monfort, of Alexandria, Kentucky; grandchildren, Dawn (Mark) Williams, David Monfort, and Ashley (Josh) Bruce; great-grandchildren, Jonathan (Jessica) Williams, Jason (Valerie) Williams, Allison (Drew) Underwood, Mathew, Hannah, Isaac and Rachel Griffis, Dylan and Drew Monfort; and great-great-grandchildren, Emma and Taylor Williams. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene for many years. Memorial service will be held at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service in Bethany Thursday, April 24, at 10:30 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (www.lls.org) in honor of great-great-granddaughter, Emma Williams, who, by the grace of God, has survived and thrived.
