Obituary Condolences

Dec 11, 1942 - May 23, 2014 BLANCHARD Judith Kay Middleton-Foos, 71, passed away May 23, 2014, in Norman, OK. She was born December 11, 1942, in Mineral Wells, TX to Geneva & Kenneth Middleton. Family was so very important to Judy; she enjoyed raising her girls and she filled their lives with precious memories. She could take the simplest holiday or reason to celebrate and turn it into something very special. Cooking was one of her hobbies and she loved to prepare meals for her family and had a talent for creating beautiful cakes and tea parties. Judy and her mother were very close. She was proud to be a Nana and always said if she had known grandchildren were this much fun, she would have had them first. She invested herself in each of them, celebrating their triumphs and comforting them when they needed it. In high school, while working for an attorney, Judy won the Oklahoma Secretary of the Year and graduated on the Honor Roll. She worked in business, from banking to oil and gas, and was the Accounting Manager at John A. Taylor for many years. When she opened her own home day care, she found what she loved doing. Judy enjoyed children and invested herself and her prayers in their lives. A special thank-you for sharing to the parents and grandparents of all the children over these many years; it meant so much to her. Judy fought a valiant battle, and we take comfort that she is now resting with her Savior, Jesus, and enjoying being with those that went before her. We will see you again sweet Momma, dear Nana -- please know it was an honor and you are our hero. She is survived by daughters, Kari and husband Todd Price and Kristi and husband Tony Wolf; grandchildren, Jacob Price, Kaylee Wolf, Kasilyn Price, and Joshua Price; brother, Gary Middleton and wife Pat; and nephew, Kent Middleton and wife Paula. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; and grandchildren, Zachary Price and Jesse Price. Funeral ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
