Obituary Condolences

Aug 27, 1921 - Nov 1, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY Juanita E. Hansen passed into her eternal rest after a long history of different health issues. She died at the age of 91. She was preceded in death by parents, Nelson A. and Lillie L. (Watkins) Hansen; her sisters, Wilma Huff-Avery and Betty Jo Hansen; and her brother, Frank Hansen. Juanita was known in the family as "Neenie." She was a graduate of Capitol Hill High School and a longtime employee of Bama Pie Co. Simple faith and "dogged" determination were two of her personal character traits. In her room was a small cross on the wall with the inscription, "Jesus never fails." Her heart was for her family, her pets and her community. Patience and a high sense of fair play allowed her to cope with many hard circumstances during her lifetime. She is survived by the following saddened family members: her oldest nephew, Jim Huff & wife Linda; great-niece, Tracy (Huff) Groves; and great-great- nieces and nephews, Marleigh Groves, Jimmy Huff & wife Deanna, Lilly, Ellie and Ranly Elijah Huff. Her youngest nephew, Ron Huff, preceded her in death. Also surviving Juanita are Ron's wife, Carla Huff; great-niece, Angela (Huff) McAllister & husband Duane; great-great- niece and nephew, Kaylie McAllister and Camron McAllister; also great-nephew, Ronald Huff II & wife Lawanda; great-great- nieces and nephews, Renae Nicole Huff and son Conner, Ron Huff III and Bethany Huff. Juanita will be missed. The physicians, nurses and staff at Grace Living Center (SW 55th & Agnew) and Good Shepherd Hospice are greatly appreciated. They contributed significantly to her comfort and health care over the last five years. They were her live-in family.
