Dec. 24, 1943 - Feb. 11, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY Jimmy Ralph Walker went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 11, 2013 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. One of four children, he was born in Holdenville, Oklahoma on December 24, 1943 to Ralph and Norene Walker. Graveside Services for Jimmy will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the Holdenville Cemetery in Holdenville, Oklahoma. He was a longtime resident of Oklahoma City and graduated from Star Spencer High School in 1962. After school, Jim served in the National Guard from 1963-1965. Jim was an employee of Sears Roebuck for many years. He owned a Carpet Sales Company and Allstate Insurance Agency until he retired in 2004. Jim was a devout Christian and served as the Chair of Elders at Village Christian Church for many years. Jim is survived by his loving wife Mary Walker of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, his sister Cloretta Hobson of Nacogdoches, Texas, his daughter Nicole Good of Tulsa, Oklahoma, son Todd Summers of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and his two outstanding grandchildren Kamryn Good and Britton Summers. Jim was preceded in death by his mother and father and brothers, Elmer Dean Walker who was killed in the 1950 tornado that struck Holdenville and Glen Ray Walker.
