September 15, 1925 - June 5, 2013 EDMOND He was born to Wm. & Zimulin (Gregory) Dees Sept. 15, 1925 in Greenville, TX. Dees was a World War II Veteran, U.S. Navy, serving in the South Pacific arena. An analyst with AT&T/Lucent he retired with 27-years service. He was a Life Member of Telephone Pioneers, Thunderbird Chapter 94 and a longtime member of the Church of Christ. He was a natural in sports. Preceded in death were his parents, a sister, Bera Glover, great-granddaughter, Brooke Lee Coker, and great-granddaughter, Rylee Paige Coker. Survived by his wife Mary R. Dees, a son and his wife John and Susan Dees, Stillwater, OK, a daughter and her husband Lana and Adron Canon, Midlothian, TX, a grandson Jeff Dees, Edmond, OK, a granddaughter Melissa Dees, Edmond, OK, a granddaughter Katie Canon Hulet and her husband Joe Hulet, Midlothian, TX and a great-granddaughter Kylea Payton Hulet, Midlothian, TX, a sister Freida Guthrie, Stillwater, OK and many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to . Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. June 29, 2013 under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Service, 8712 North Council Road, Oklahoma City, OK 73132.
