GERALD MILLER Obituary
November 12, 1929-December 7, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY Gerald C. "Jerry" Miller, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away in his sleep at home during the early hours of Saturday, December 7, 2013. Born in Columbus, OH on November 12, 1929, Jerry graduated from Dublin High School. He served in the Air Force which allowed him and his wife Sylvia to be stationed in exotic locations such as Malden, MO and Houston, TX. Jerry was a skilled wood-worker and he loved playing golf with his son and grandsons, watching football, camping, spoiling his dogs, and arguing with anyone with whom he disagreed. He was also an amazing storyteller and make-shift dentist for when his grandchildren needed teeth pulled. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sylvia; his children, Phil & Patti Miller, Vicki Pape, and Susan & Jim Miller; grandchildren, Mike, Amanda, Matt, Emily, Mark, and Mitch; great-granddaughter, Katelyn; siblings, Mary Lou, Willy, and Dan; numerous nieces and nephews;, and his "little baby girl" canine-companion, Chloe. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Ethel Miller; sister, Jean; son-in-law, David Pape; and countless family pets. A crotchety yet lovable man, Jerry will be missed greatly by his loved ones, although they won't miss his bragging whenever he beat them in euchre and dominoes. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his name to the . Private Services. To share a memory or condolence, visit www.mercer-adams.com www.mercer-adams.com
