November 28, 1940-February 3, 2014 BETHANY Robert (Bob) Dean Wallace was born on November 28, 1940 in Portales, New Mexico, to Fred and Isa Wallace. Bob spent his life working in the sheet metal business. He co-owned and operated Council Stainless and Sheet Metal for 25 years. Bob was predeceased by his parents, half-sister, Ida Mae Stevenson, and brother, Bill Wallace. Bob is survived by his wife, Sheila Edwards Wallace, of the home; children, Ronnie (Becky) Wallace, Teresa (James) Young, Sherol (Jerry) Rumbaugh, Melissa (Bill) Thweatt; grandchildren, Crystal Carr, Chris Wallace, Jordan Wallace, David Balenseifen, Ethan Nelson, Ashton Nelson, Cali Nelson, Megan Parker, Morgan Rumbaugh, April Emerson and Jenna St. Clair; great-grandchildren, Ryan Carr, Parker Nelson, Abi Emerson, Skylar Clark and Charles Graham; half-brother, Herman Wallace; sisters, Betty Pagan (Keith) and Margaret (Doug) Eaton; sisters-in-law, Donelda McKeand and Carol Wallace; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Bob and Sheila were key workers on Work & Witness teams to Europe, China, Africa and Mexico. Bob used his construction and fabrication skills to build things and his infectious personality developing relationships with God's people. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing as his den walls greatly demonstrate. A service honoring Bob's life will be Thursday, February 6, 2014, at 2:00pm at Bethany First Church of the Nazarene. Family visitation will be Wednesday evening, February 5, 2014, 7:00-9:00pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Heap Missionary Chapter at Bethany First Church of the Nazarene.
