Obituary Condolences

June 29, 1954 - April 6, 2014 BETHANY Mark William Seftar was born June 29, 1954, in Milwaukee, WI to Aloysius and Agnes (Beyerl) Seftar. Mark's early years were spent in Milwaukee with memorable weekends at the lake cabin in northern Wisconsin. After graduation from Aloysius High School, Mark went to an apprenticeship in Construction Project Management. In 1998, Mark relocated to Oklahoma to begin employment with Globe Construction. Mark was a Project Superintendent until his retirement due to illness in October 2013. Mark loved the outdoors; hunting, fishing and bird-watching were pure enjoyment for him. In January of 2004, Mark was granted a second chance at love when he met his soul mate and best friend, Vicki. Mark and Vicki made their home in Bethany, where Mark passed away Sunday, April 6 in Vicki's arms and surrounded by family and friends. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Aloysius; and several aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife, Vicki; mother, Agnes; stepchildren, Kevin, Kyle, and Kara Freeman; siblings, Jim (Patti), Sharon Keogh (John), Carol Ash (Garry), Chuck (Vicki), and Mike (Libby); in-laws, Donnell Padgett and Damon Padgett (Jean); and a host of special nieces and nephews, including Russell, Teri, and Ali. A heartfelt thanks to Vicki's Hilldale family for prayers, food and support throughout the courageous battle. Special thanks to Vicki's beloved aunt, Linda Tansel, who has been her mentor and "rock." Services will be at Mercer-Adams Chapel in Bethany on Thursday, April 10 at 2 p.m. To share a memory or condolence, visit: www.mercer-adams.com www.mercer-adams.com
