Jack was born in Odell, Texas on Sept. 14, 1923 and died April 9, 2006. He attended school in Chillicothe, TX. He served in the Army Corps Engineers from 1942-1945. He married Mildred Anderson in Chicago, IL. October, 1946. Jack received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Chicago Institute Tech in 1949. He was an instructor of electrical engineering at Camp Gordon in Augusta, GA in 1950. He served in the U. S. Air Force 1951-1955 teaching electronic counter measures in Biloxi, MS. In 1956 he went to work for Aero Engineering as a sales engineer in Dayton, OH. He was transferred to OKC in 1966 and was a sales representative for Garrett Corp. Jack and Mildred established a corporation called Babyland Inc. from 1969-1979. In 1987 he retired from Allied Signal. From 1989-1991 Jack was president of the Board of Central Oklahoma Christian Home. He enjoyed visiting the sick in nursing homes, hospitals and shut-ins at home. He was appointed elder of 3 different Churches of Christ in a 25 year period, of which 2 of them were Northwest and Cherokee Hills Church of Christ. He was a faithful member of Mayfair Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mildred, in 2005 and sister, LaVerne Watterson. Our beloved father and grandfather is survived by son, Don Chandler and wife Kathleen; daughters, Sue Green and husband Rick, and Sherie Priest and husband Mark; 5 grandsons and 4 great grandchildren; 1 sister Lynda Bentinck . Services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 13th at Mayfair Church of Christ with interment at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
