ERROL "Turk" ROBICHAUX(1946 - 2017)

"Turk" Robichaux Nov. 27, 1946 - Nov. 26, 2017 OKLAHOMA CITY Errol was born in Houma, LA to Eugene Jean Robichaux and Adele Cecile (Ponville) Robichaux. Errol worked in the oil & gas field from the time he was 9 years old and was his profession all his life. He moved his family to Oklahoma from Louisiana in the early 80s where he lived out the rest of his life except for a year or so when he moved back to Houma. He was a hard-working, self-disciplined man whose integrity was beyond reproach. He loved his family and friends, judged little and set a great example for all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Eugene Jr., Bobby and David and 1 sister, Debby Verret. Errol is survived by his wife, Terri; 5 children, Errol Robichaux, Jr. (Michelle) of Apex, N.C., Steven Cook of Piedmont, OK, Stacey Cook (Cheyenne) of Elk City, OK, Doug Robichaux (Shawn) of Trophy Club, TX, Heather Lancaster of OKC; sister, Norma Babin of Houma, LA; brother, Michael Robichaux (Debbie) of Edmond, OK; 9 grandchildren, Ashley Waltz, Courtney Robichaux, Chance Cook, Caelin Lancaster, Kayleigh Robichaux, Haylee Cook, Brady Lancaster, Patrick Cook, Elizabeth Robichaux; and many other family members and friends. Services to celebrate his life will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 16, 2017, at Soldier Creek Church of Christ, 417 Monroe Ave. NW, Piedmont, OK.
