September 29, 1935 - September 29, 2017 OKLAHOMA CITY In Loving Memory Cynthia Robb passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of her eighty second birthday in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She was enjoying a birthday celebration trip with her daughters. Cynthia was born in Garretson, South Dakota to Huldah and Einer Pedersen. Her father Einer had immigrated to America after serving in the Danish Navy. Her mother Josephine Hagen Pedersen, was of Norwegian descent. They married on August 24, 1957 in Denver, Colorado. Cynthia dearly loved and supported her husband, three children, and her grandchildren. She loved spending time with family and traveling. She was very proud of her Scandinavian heritage and spent a year in college studying in Denmark. She stayed in close contact with her family in Denmark and visited them on her 70th birthday. She was a member of the first provisional class of The Assistance League of Norman, and was a long time active member. She also volunteered at Norman Regional Hospital. Cynthia is remembered by all who knew her as a wonderful cook and elegant hostess, skilled artist, and seamstress. Cynthia was a member of the Norman Garden Club and was a passionate rose gardener. Her other interests included interior design, fashion, and horseback riding. Cynthia enjoyed her dear friends lunch and bridge groups. She enjoyed reading mysteries, history, and the Bible. She lived her life with the scriptures as her guide, and was a gracious and loving person to all. Cynthia held professional positions at American Exchange Bank as a new account manager and she worked at Dillard's. Cynthia is survived by her three children, their spouses and grandchildren, Camilla and Tommy Winfrey, Peter Robb, and Aimee and David Harlow; and her grandchildren, Claire, Dane and Evan Winfrey, Abby, Connor and Matthew Robb, and Kristina and Will Harlow. She is also survived by her brother David and his wife Patty; and her brother-in-law, John Robb and his wife Barbara, and many nieces and nephews.
