DONNA DARR Obituary
June 7, 1944 - July 31, 2018 MIDWEST CITY Donna "GeGe" Darr, 74, of Midwest City, OK, passed away peacefully July 31, 2018 at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born June 7, 1944 to Walter and Pauline Jaro in Oklahoma City, OK. Donna retired as a government contractor 15 years ago, and then fulfilled her bucket list of becoming a bartender. "BigMan" finally got his bartender back. GeGe fulfilled her dreams living life to the fullest making memories that will last forever with her family and friends. After GeGe's first cruise in 1988, she fell in love and since cruised over 40 times and now is on the cruise of a lifetime. She always lived life her way, and on her terms, up till the last day. She was truly a legend in her time. Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard "BigMan" Darr; brothers, Steve Jaro, Darryl Jaro. Survived by daughter, Carrie Marshall & husband Wes; "Baby Boy", Jim Moore; daughter, Laura Lea Morris; grandchildren, Morgan, Brooke, Deanna, Amber; great granddaughter, Bailey; sister, Pam Cathy & husband Steve; brother, Ronnie Jaro & wife Jane; sisters-in-law, Darlene Jaro & Betty Jaro; and many other family members. A very special thank you to Roy Nowlin for his big heart and to Dr. Allen and all the nurses for their kindness & compassion. A funeral service to celebrate Donna's life will be 10AM, Sat. Aug. 4, 2018 at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Blackburn Cemetery.
