GREGORY HIGGINS Obituary
Higgins, Jr. November 10, 1977 - October 27, 2018 MUSTANG Greg passed away on Saturday due to a tragic car wreck in Norman, Oklahoma. He was with his best friend who also died at the scene.Greg was born in Oklahoma City on November 10th, 1977 to Greg and JoAnn Higgins. He married Rebecca on December 18, 1998 and began his journey as a father just a few years after. Greg was the Chief Operating Officer at NextThought in Norman and was always passionate about and dedicated to his job. Greg leaves behind his wife, Rebecca; his four sons, Nathan, 16, Dylan, 14, Braden, 13, and Austin, 11; his father, Greg Sr., and mother, JoAnn; his brother, Dustin and wife Amy; his sister, Elizabeth and husband Gary; sister-in-law, Lisa; brother-in-law, Tom; sister-in-law, Julie; sister-in-law, Angie; many nieces and nephews; uncle Lester, numerous aunts and uncles, close friends, and loved ones.Greg was a Godly man who cherished and took pride in his family. He loved taking care of his wife and always wanted her to have the best. He took such pleasure in watching his four boys participate in all their activities, from soccer games to playing in the school band, which was a pastime of his own. He loved bragging on his boys and all their achievements. He was very involved in church in different ways: leading the youth group, running the sound board, playing bass guitar for praise and worship. He loved going to the lake, hiking, completing projects around the house, watching his kids play sports and coaching their teams, OU football, Thunder basketball, getting together with family and friends, his work friends who were like an extended family, adventure, and traveling. He was always willing and ready to help out and lend a helping hand.He touched so many lives and will be greatly missed by so many. We know he is watching down from Heaven's balcony and walking the streets of gold with Jesus. In this we have hope and know that we will one day be reunited with him. Services will be Friday, November 2, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Bethany Cemetery. To share a memory or condolence, visit www.mercer-adams.com www.mercer-adams.com
