1932 - 2018 Obituary Condolences
CopelandOct. 26, 1932 - Aug. 2, 2018 OKLAHOMA CITY Harold was born to Naomi and Paul Copeland in Lone Wolf, OK. They moved to OKC when he was 10. He began his career as a paper boy and worked his way up to owning two International Truck dealerships, one in Wichita, KS and one in OKC. He met his wife, Dot, on a blind date that lasted 65 years. They had two children, Dee Ann, of OKC; and Curtis, of Parkland, FL. Harold's greatest attributes were hard work, supporting individuals and charities. He was a good and fair boss who loved his job and employees. With retirement, he found different interests, golf, sports, jogging and walking our two pugs, Riggs and Prissy, who are waiting for him in Heaven. He is survived by his wife, Dot; children, Dee Ann and Curtis; daughter-in-law, Monica; granddaughters, Camilla and Alia; great-grandsons, James, Jackson, and Josiah; aunt, Alene Feister; and cousins, Jeri Hubbard, Bill and Don Lawson. Special mention of Dr. Bob Stepp who cared for and encouraged Harold all through his illness and a BIG Thanks to the owners of Homecare Assistance and their girls who took care of Harold and Dot. Services were held Aug. 8, private burial in Resurrection Memorial Cemetery. Any donations in Harold's name should be sent to Hearts for Hearing, 11500 N Portland in Oklahoma City.
