Helen Louise Lackey

EL RENO
Born December 15, 1928 in Seminole, OK, Louise passed away February 6, 2019 at St. Katharine Drexel in El Reno, Oklahoma with her caring and loving family and staff by her side. She attended Seminole High School and married William D. (Tom) Lackey on December 22, 1946 in Seminole. They moved to El Reno in 1947 where they had daughters Linda Kay and Saundra.
Louise was employed at Oklahoma Natural Gas for 30 years and retired from there in 1986. After Tom retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone, they enjoyed
many years traveling together with family and friends as well as spending time at their home at Lake Tenkiller.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Nellie Miller, husband, Tom, daughter, Linda Kay, brother, Ben Miller Jr. and sisters, Dorothy Moranville and Nina Drewery.
She is survived by her
daughter, Saundra Krittenbrink and her husband Keith of Okarche, brothers, Truman Miller and wife Norma of Phoenix, Arizona, Johnny Miller and wife Susan of Edmond, and sister, Barbara Dye and husband James of Seminole. Louise is also survived by her grand-daughters, Cristi Abner and Laurie Kai Abner of El Reno and Marla Dominguez and husband Sal of Cypress, Texas, as well as her grandsons, Brian Krittenbrink and his wife Brandi and Justin Krittenbrink all of Okarche.
Louise also leaves behind great grandchildren, Chad Craddock of Yukon, Caitlyn Cantey of El Reno, Wyatt
and Grace Krittenbrink of Okarche, Annie and Adam Clark of Cypress, Texas and Ben Dominguez of Columbus, Ohio as well as many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly and whose lives she touched in countless ways.
Louise was known for her love of adventure, her feisty, independent spirit, and her willingness to help those who needed a surrogate "mother". She will be dearly missed by those blessed to know her.
Services are under the direction of Huber Benson
Funeral Home. Private family graveside services will be at El Reno Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: St. Katharine Drexer Endowment Fund, 301 W. Wade, El Reno, OK 73036.
