1951 - 2019 Obituary Condolences
Galloway, Jr. Aug. 19, 1951 - Jan. 4, 2019 EDMOND Lawrence "Bo" Galloway, 67, passed away on Jan. 4, 2019. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on August 19, 1951, to Lawrence and Jacqueline Galloway. Bo graduated from Bergen Catholic High School in Peoria, IL in 1969. Bo excelled in many sports including tennis and lacrosse before attending Oklahoma State University where he played basketball. After college, Bo worked hard in the oil and gas industry until eventually starting his own successful oil and gas company, Pinnacle Wellhead. He loved his work and cherished the many lifelong friends he made through business. Our best memories with Bo are spending time with family and friends skiing and tubing at the lake. Bo is survived by his wife of 34 years, Peggy; his four children, Jacqueline (Keystone), John (Kate), Katie (Baxter), and Kevin (and friend, Marlie). Bo was also fondly known as "Pops" to his four grandchildren who gave him his greatest joy: Hunter, Cooper, Nora, and Charlie. He is also survived by his siblings: Ann, Ellen, Susan, Tom, and Jane and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Judy. A memorial service will be held at 10am on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019, at New Covenant United Methodist Church in Edmond, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Greater Oklahoma City Young Life.
