MARGARET MUHLINGHAUSE Obituary
MuhlinghauseMarch 13, 1959 - Oct. 1, 2018 EDMOND Margaret Updike Muhlinghause, 59, was born March 13, 1959, in El Paso, TX to Bill & Ann Updike and died on Oct. 1, 2018, after a strong battle against cancer. Meg's warm and bubbly personality made her a joy to be around. She was never satisfied unless she knew that everyone around her was happy and comfortable. She was loyal to her family, friends and God and would fiercely stand up for those she loved. This selfless attitude made her the best wife, mother, sister and friend anyone could ask for. She had a kind and gentle heart that made her the perfect person to talk to. Meg's favorite place in the world was her happy place: Lake Murray. So many great times were had floating in the water, dancing atop the houseboat and spending time with her best friends and family. She was incredibly devoted to her family and friends, supporting them in everything they did and will be deeply missed by all. Meg is survived by her husband, Greg Muhlinghause; daughter, Janie Muhlinghause; son, Matt Muhlinghause; sister, Katie Updike; brother, Pete Updike; sister, Connie McGinty; and numerous other family members. Services celebrating Meg's life will be 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, at the First Presbyterian Church of Edmond at Rankin & 9th Street, Edmond.
