1943 - 2018 Obituary Condolences
July 29, 1943 - May 14, 2018 BRIDGE CREEK Marie (Stiner) Dunham, age 74, of Bridge Creek, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018, at Mercy Hospital after a long illness. She was born on July 29, 1943 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Marie was the youngest of 12 children born to Robert Otto Stiner and Willie Lee (Cottrell) Stiner. She grew up in Oklahoma City, graduating from Capitol Hill High School in 1961. Marie married Daniel Dunham, the love of her life, on June 21, 1963. They made their home in the Village until 1989 when they moved to their present home in Blanchard. Together, they raised two sons, Daniel Steven Dunham, Jr. and Robert Edwin Dunham. She retired from Macklanburg Duncan where she had made many friends, some of whom lovingly referred to her as `Grandma'. After retiring, she and her soulmate spent their time traveling, sight-seeing and spending time with their beloved family members and a host of friends. Among their many hobbies they shared were fishing, four-wheeling in Colorado and gardening. Throughout her life, Marie's home was a warm place where everyone loved to have get-togethers and enjoy her delicious home-cooked meals. She was known to all for her fun-loving personality, her generosity to anyone in need, and her devotion to her husband and family. She was a friend to all and a stranger to no one for any length of time after meeting her. Her absence and her contagious laughter will leave a void in so many lives, but she is at rest in the Savior's arms. Marie is survived by her beloved husband, Dan; two sons, Daniel Steven Dunham, Jr., and wife, Brenda of Carrollton, Texas, and Robert Edwin Dunham and wife, Amy, of Edmond; four brothers, Edmond Stiner of Portland, Oregon, Robert Stiner of Edmond, Preston Stiner of Edmond, and Claude Stiner of Tuttle; two sisters, Reta Gaona of Oklahoma City, and Ruth Skaggs of Jefferson, Georgia; three grandsons, Caleb Dunham of Oklahoma City, Colin Dunham of Houston, Texas, and Robert Dunham of Edmond; two granddaughters, Allison Switzer of Austin, Texas, and Addison Dunham of Edmond; and one great granddaughter, Josephine Marie Switzer of Austin, Texas. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly, as well as many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., May 18, 2018, at Crossroad to Life Baptist Church in Blanchard. Interment will folllow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Oklahoma City. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com
