MARVIN TERRELL Obituary
Feb. 2, 1934 - Jan. 27, 2015 MIDWEST CITY Marvin Ronald Terrell, 80, of Midwest City, OK, died January 27, 2015. Born February 2, 1934 to Marvin and AnnaBell Terrell in Corpus Christi, Texas. The family later moved to Lawton, OK where he attended school and graduated from Lawton High School. He also attended Cameron Jr. College and Oklahoma City University before joining the US Air Force in 1952. He was stationed in Korea and Japan and received an Honorable Discharge in 1956. He worked at various jobs before starting a career with US Postal Service in 1964, retiring in 1995.Marvin was the "Great All-American Armchair Athlete". He loved watching all sports and he was an especially big fan of OU Football and Basketball. He enjoyed fishing, Country & Western Music, and reading the daily newspaper while enjoying a cup of coffee. He kept in touch with his old buddies and enjoyed attending family reunions to visit with his many cousins, aunts and uncles. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Frankie, of the home, son Mark and wife Gail, of Ponca City, step-sons Ron Acebo of Jenks, Richard Acebo of OKC, Roger Acebo of Jenks, eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. As well as many loving extended family members and friends.Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015, at 2:00 PM at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home in Midwest City with interment following at Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City, OK.
