March 29, 1969 - Dec. 22, 2018 IRON MOUNTAIN, MI Patrick Case, age 49, passed away at his home in Iron Mountain, MI on Dec. 22, 2018. He was born on March 29, 1969, to LeRoy & Jeannette Case of Tuttle, OK. Patrick graduated from Tuttle High School in 1987, where he participated in golf, football, and basketball. He was the first student to play golf for Tuttle High School, and went on to play golf at the University of Central Oklahoma. Two years later, he transferred to The University of Oklahoma, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in history and economics. Patrick then went on to work for Vartec Telecom as a Regulatory Compliance Official and eventually, was promoted to President and CEO of MedTech, a small Waco, TX based company with 60 employees that provided patient and doctor medical verification for insurance companies. While at MedTech, Patrick also founded SunTech, where he provided inbound customer service for various companies, including Vartec Telecom and PBS (Public Broadcasting Service). Patrick's success enabled him to build these two companies from 60 employees and one location to over 1,400 employees and two locations in both Waco, TX and Tulsa, OK. In 2009, Patrick moved to Iron Mountain, MI to continue his career in Information Technology Services. He was most recently the Vice President of Engineering at BluIp, where he created and implemented a complete voice and data solution for the hotel industry in the United States and abroad. Patrick also authored several information technology articles to magazines and online media sources over his career that received publication. He loved his work and the people he developed friendships with along the way. Throughout his 49 years, Patrick enjoyed spending his free time playing golf, fly-fishing, camping, cooking, entertaining friends, watching movies, and spending time with his Labrador Retriever, Lilly. Patrick was a very intelligent individual who could have a wicked sense of humor and a boisterous laugh. He loved taking care of his dog, Lilly, and the people around him. He had a generous and caring spirit and will be dearly missed by many. Patrick is survived by his father, LeRoy Case, of Tuttle, OK; his three sisters, Sherri Streber, Terri Skaggs, and Stacie Schmidt, of Tuttle; his brother, Tony Case, of Tuttle; as well as two uncles, one aunt, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, Jan. 18 at 10:30 a.m. The service will be at the First Baptist Church of Tuttle, 14 SW 2nd Street. Memorials may be made in Patrick's name to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and to .
