Sept. 20, 1943 - Jan. 3, 2019 YUKON Peggy Sue (Echols) Bradford, our beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, sister and treasured Meemaw, at the age of 75, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019, at her home in Yukon, OK. She was born on Sept. 20, 1943, in San Francisco, CA to Earl J. and Florena (Harvey) Echols. She was the oldest of three children. She was a 1961 graduate of Putnam City High School. Peggy married Rick Bradford on Jan. 20, 1962. Peggy worked for Midland Bank and the FDIC for many years. When Rick and Peggy and local families started the Bethel Baptist Church of Yukon in 1978, Peggy rose with grace to a pastor's wife. She loved her Lord, her family and her friends so well. She influenced many to live for God and to lean on Him at all times. She mentored many women to find healing, love and acceptance through Christ alone. Peggy was the kindest woman who served everyone with unconditional love. She was an amazing prayer warrior who continually lifted up those around her. Peggy leaves an amazing legacy of love, faith, commitment and perseverance. She enriched the lives of all who knew her. She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Rick; daughter, Lori and husband Kenny Morgan; son, Todd and wife Tammy Bradford; sister, Shirley Helm and husband Bob Howard; and four grandsons: Corey Morgan, Kyle Morgan, Crossen Bradford, and Carter Bradford. Peggy was preceded in death by her father, Earl; mother, Flo; stepfather, Harold Robertson; brother, Buddy Echols; and many loved family members. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. with the family present 1-3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7 at Yanda & Son Funeral Home, Yukon, OK. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 8 at Bethel Community Church, Yukon, OK, with interment following at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery, Oklahoma City.
