Emma Maxine Logan

Emma Maxine Logan, age 81 of Purcell died September 29, 2005 in Norman. She was born July 7, 1924 in Commerce, Okla. to James and Delia Sellers White. Maxine married James 'Jay' Logan, Jr. on October 10, 1940. In 1949 they moved to Okla. City where she work at J.C. Pennys. In 1988 they moved to Purcell & she worked for the Norman Pennys. She retired in 1998 and was active in the Purcell and Washington communities. While in Okla. City she was a member of Northwest Baptist Church for 35 ½ years. After moving to Purcell she became a member of the Washington First Baptist Church. In 2001 she moved to Norman. She was preceded in death by: Parents, Husband, son: James R. Logan, and 10 brothers & sisters. She is survived by: 1 son: Richard Logan of Okla. City; 1 daughter-In-Law: Daphne Logan of Tacoma, WA; 1 grandson: Vick Logan; 1 great granddaughter: Danielle. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM October 3rd, 2005 at the Washington Baptist Church. Burial will be at Washington Cemetery. Arrangements by Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
